Wow. Comments since I was here last (yeah, months, I've been busy). Now that is cool!

Um. I read them. Not so cool. All some sort of spam. Pornograhic spam, mostly.

It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine...

Maybe it's the rum and coke, but this seems like the weirdest Althouse thread in a while and I'm impelled to comment:

Engineer-me: If there is a collision it's technically a meteorite.

Photographer-me: rhhardin: thank you for the bird song section caption. I shall think of you warmly, the next time I visit Ohio.

Monk-me: Was only the one binder clip small and all the others ginormous, or is there some sort of diagonal symmetry on the far side of the end-of-the-world sign holder thingy?

Astronomer-me: palladian: technically the stars were our past, well, everything but the hydrogen atoms. Those can predate the carbon cycle. We should be thinking in terms of pure energy and consciousness (cue Scott Adams or Star Trek).
